Air Fryer Sticky Beef Noodles

4 steps
Prep:10minCook:20min
I love to create fake-aways at home. I am always experimenting with some of the classic take-away dishes. This dish is one of the favourites in our house. It is sweet, sticky and delicious. And making it at home costs less than half the price of buying from our local takeaway.

Instructions

Step 1
So start by removing the crisper plate from your air fryer and set the temperature to 190C. Add the beef mince to the basket and break it up as much as you can with a wooden spoon. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. So this will help break the mince up a bit more as it cooks. This will ensure that it browns all over. If you have some beef fat left in the bottom at the end of the 8 minutes then drain it off. I use kitchen paper to soak up the excess fat with that.
Step 2
Next, add your frozen green beans and peppers to the air fryer along with the teriyaki sauce and stir well. Cook for a further 10 to 12 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked through.
Step 3
Then add your fresh noodles to the air fryer basket, along with the light soy sauce and stir well. Cook for a further 3 to 5 minutes, until the noodles are piping hot and starting to caramelise a little.
Step 4
Finally, serve the sticky beef and noodles stir fry sprinkled with your sliced red chilli and spring onions. And don’t forget a side of prawn crackers for an authentic takeaway feel.
