Step 1
In a pan, melt the butter, add the orange juice, zest, sugar, honey, marmalade and spices. let it cool down.
Step 2
Mix the baking powder with the flour, mix the cooled sauce, add the eggs and whisk until fully combined.
Step 3
Refrigerate the batter for a few hours.
Step 4
Pre heat the oven at 170C and butter up the cake mould.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the mould, bake for 60 min
Step 6
Melt the orange jam with a couple of tablespoons of water in a saucepan and brush the cake with it. Decorate it with star anise, cinnamon sticks, and candied orange peels.
