Instructions

Step 1
Drain and crumble tofu – Press out excess moisture using a kitchen towel or cheesecloth.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine tofu, 2 tbsp onion, 2 tbsp carrot, 2 tbsp chives, 1 tbsp tuna fish sauce, ½ tbsp cooking wine, 1 tsp sugar, ½ tsp salt, 1 egg, 3 tbsp starch powder, and a little black pepper. Mix well. Check consistency – If the mixture is too soft, add 1 more tbsp of starch.
Step 3
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp oil. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture and place them in the pan. Cook on medium-low heat – When the bottom turns golden brown, flip and cook the other side. Once both sides are crispy and golden, your savory tofu patties are ready!
