A quick and zesty homemade salsa packed with fresh flavors. Perfect with tortilla chips, tacos, or grilled meats.

Instructions

Step 1
Drain the canned tomatoes and Rotel slightly if you prefer a thicker salsa.
Step 2
Roughly chop the onion and cilantro.
Step 3
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Step 4
Pulse until you reach your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
Step 5
Taste and adjust salt and lemon/lime juice as needed.
Step 6
For a fresh version, substitute the Rotel with fresh tomatoes and add ½ a fresh jalapeño for heat.
Step 7
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld, or serve immediately.
