Fried Rice - Large Batch v1

A recipe to make fried rice at home! This will produce a large batch, so you can have left overs for a few days :)
Tip for norwegians: Amerikansk Blanding is a good quick vegetable blend. It contains frozen peas, carrots and corn.

Preparation
Step 1
Put the rice in a pot of water. Massage the rice to wash away the starches. Empty out the water and refill the pot with fresh water. Repeat 4 times.


Step 2
When you're done washing the rice, fill the pot up with water up to your knuckle.
Step 3
Heat up the pot until the water starts boiling.
Step 4
Let the rice simmer on low heat with the lid on for about 15 minutes.

Step 5
Crack the eggs into a bowl, and add salt and white pepper.




Step 6
Mix the eggs together until homogenized.
Cooking
Step 7
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Then add them into a pan to cook until the chicken starts getting a good coloration.


Step 8
Add salt and MSG to the chicken.


Step 9
Set aside the cooked chicken in a bowl.

Step 10
Cook the minced meat until it browns. Then add salt and MSG.




Step 11
Re-add the chicken to the pan to combine with the minced meat.
Step 12
Add chili mix, black pepper, salt, MSG, garlic powder and onion powder, to the meat and mix it in well.






Step 13
Form a divot in the middle of the pan, exposing the bottom. Add in soy sauce and dark soy Sauce and mix well.


Step 14
Let the sauces boil off for a second or two before setting the meats aside into a bowl.

Step 15
Add your vegetable blend to a pan and fry it at high heat. (We recommend carrots, corn, onions, and peas!)



Step 16
Add butter, salt and MSG to the vegetables and mix well.



Step 17
Form a divot again, and add a little butter as well as soy sauce and dark soy sauce to the vegetables. Mix it all together.



Step 18
Combine the meats and vegetables in the pan. Cook together for a bit before putting it all back in a large bowl.

Step 19
Add a little bit of butter to the pan on high heat. Then add a third of the egg mixture to the pan.


Step 20
Mix the eggs for a few seconds before adding a third of the rice to the still slightly liquid eggs. Mix them together well and fry together until they receive a nice char.
Step 21
Form a divot and add in soy sauce and dark soy sauce. Mix it all well, before adding in the meats and mixing one last time.
Step 22
Add the contents of the pan into a heat-safe container. Repeat steps 19-21 for the other two thirds.
