Instructions

Step 1
In a pot, heat some oil, add onion and garlic.
Step 2
Add grated Hokkaido and saute for a few minutes.
Step 3
Season with salt, pepper, cumin, thyme and nutmeg.
Step 4
Pour in the chicken stock and boil on lower heat for 15-20 mins until hokkaido is soft.
Step 5
Take off the heat and add sour cream or 30% cream to create a softer texture.
Step 6
Serve with cooked potatoes (with salt, cumin, butter) and fried sausage or boiled egg.
