Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Beat shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy.
Step 3
Mix in by hand: flour, then oats, then raisins.
Step 4
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheets.
Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
