¼ teaspoonsalt

1red bell pepper

0.25 poundsweet Italian sausage

1 x 10 ouncewhole-wheat pizza crust
prebaked

1 tablespoonfat-free ricotta cheese

½ cupshredded fat-free mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoonsgrated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoonsblack olives
thinly sliced
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Step 2
Heat the oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions, sugar, oregano, and salt; cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions soften, about 3 minutes. Add the bell pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden, 8-9 minutes.
Step 3
Place the sausage in a small nonstick skillet and add 1/2 inch of water. Place over medium-high heat; cook, turning the sausage occasionally, until the water evaporates. Continue cooking until the sausage is browned, about 3 minutes longer; transfer to a cutting board and cut the sausage into thin slices.
Step 4
Place the pizza crust on the baking sheet. Spread with the ricotta cheese leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edge. Top with the onion mixture, mozzarella cheese, sausage, and parmesan cheese. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with the olives and cut into six wedges.
