Instructions
Step 1
Combine the chicken, beans, butter, garlic, parsley, shallot, lemon juice, 2 tsp salt and several generous grinds od black pepper to crock pot.
Step 2
Cook on low until chicken is tender, and the flavors have mellowed, about 4 hours.
Step 3
Break the chicken into large chunks using 2 forks.
Add sour cream.
Step 4
Serve the stew topped with croutons and more parsley.
