Ingredients

1 boxjumbo pasta shells
2 cupscottage cheese
1 cupshredded mozzarella
divided
½ cupgrated parmesan
1egg
2 cupsfresh spinach
chopped
1 cupfrozen spinach
thawed and squeezed dry
2cloves garlic
minced
1 tspitalian seasoning
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
650mlpasta sauce
1 cupground turkey
cooked, or chicken to the filling, optional
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Cook pasta shells in salted water until just al dente. Drain and lay flat so they do not stick together.

In a large bowl mix:

Half the mozzarella
Step 6
Parmesan
Step 7
Egg
Step 8
Spinach
Step 9
Garlic
Step 10
Italian seasoning
Step 11
Salt and pepper
Step 12
Spread about 1 cup of pasta sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
Step 13
Fill each shell with the cottage cheese mixture and place in the dish.

Pour remaining sauce over top.
Step 15
Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella on top.
Step 16
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Step 17
Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
Step 18
Let sit 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
