Creamy Irish Pub Chicken Skillet (Dialysis Friendly)

½ cupheavy cream
1 TbspDijon mustard
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
½ tspblack pepper
½ tspsmoked paprika
½ tspthyme
1 tspcornstarch
1 Tbspwater

Instructions
Step 1
Brown the chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Season chicken with: • black pepper • smoked paprika Cook 5 minutes per side until browned. Remove.
Step 2
Build the flavor base: In the same skillet cook: • onions • mushrooms • zucchini Cook 4–5 minutes until soft and golden. Add garlic if you like.
Step 3
Finish Return chicken to pan. Simmer 12–15 minutes until the sauce thickens and chicken is tender.
Step 4
Make the pub gravy Add to the pan: • chicken broth • cream • Dijon mustard • Worcestershire • thyme Bring to a gentle simmer. If you want it thicker: • stir in cornstarch slurry.
