Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

Saute garlic and red pepper flakes in a little olive oil for about 30 seconds until fragrant
Step 3
Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen the tomato flavor.
Step 4
Poor in the jar of arrabbiata sauce and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 5
Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, butter, and Parmesan until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Add a splash of pasta water to help emulsify the sauce if needed.
Step 6
Add chicken, cooked pasta, and smoked paprika if using.
