Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a shallow bowl, beat the egg until smooth. In a separate shallow dish, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat it in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating sticks. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. (This step is optional, but it helps create a crispy crust.) Transfer the seared pork chops to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased. Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the crust is golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot!
