½ tsppaprika

Instructions
Step 1
• Heat 1 tsp olive oil over medium-low heat.
• Add the garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Don't let it brown.
• Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes. This deepens the flavor.
• Add the canned chopped tomatoes.
• Mix in the oregano, basil, paprika, chili flakes, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
• Simmer gently for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• If it becomes too thick, add a splash of water.
• Taste and adjust the seasoning. If it's a bit acidic, add a small pinch of sweetener.
• For a smoother, restaurant-style sauce, blend it with a hand blender or regular blender until silky.
