Instructions
Step 1
Heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
Step 2
Sauté the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3
Add mushrooms if using and cook 3–4 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a gentle boil.
Step 5
Add the frozen dumplings and cook according to the package directions (usually 5–8 minutes).
Step 6
During the last 2–3 minutes, stir in the bok choy so it stays bright green and slightly crisp.
Step 7
Finish with toasted sesame oil and taste. Add more soy sauce if needed.
Step 8
Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili crisp if you like a little heat.
