Ingredients
6 servings
1 lbRed Beans
1 CWhite Rice
we like Jasmin
1 lbSmoked Sausage
We prefer
1onion
large, chopped finely
1green bell pepper
chopped finely
3 stalksCelery
chopped fine
1 TOregano
Basil
Thyme
Rosemary
Cajun Seasoning
Cayenne
garlic powder
Onion Powder
Celery Salt
may be added later to taste
2bay leaves
1 lbPickled Pork
Chopped in to bite size pieces
Instructions
Step 1
Chop Holy Trinity, slice sausage and pork to bite size pieces.
Step 2
Add ALL ingredients to a large pot with 10 C of Water.
Step 3
Bring to a small boil, stirring occasionally to get everything mixed up.
Step 4
Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer, cover and let cook for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Make rice
Step 6
Scoop rice into a bowl, pout your beans and meat over the rice.
Step 7
Add Tobasco to flavor and enjoy!
