Step 1
Boil pasta, if using french beans add to the pasta for the last 5 minutes of cooking. If you don't mind over cooking your beans add with pasta as the water comes to boil. I cook pasta and beans for about 8 minutes. In a separate pan drain oil from anchovies into pan or add a couple of teaspoons of whatever oil you have handy. Heat oil on medium add chopped anchovy fillets and cook for a couple of minutes till breaking apart, add chopped or crushed garlic cloves and cook for a few minutes. Chop tomatoes and add to cooking garlic and anchovies. Cook till starting to breakdown. Add tomato gubbins to cooked pasta and stir well. Add a couple of tins of drained tuna and stir, drop in as many black olives as you like, chop them up a bit. Stir in the juice of half a lemon and some torn up basil leaves. Serve with a grating of parmesan, strong cheddar or whatever.
