KUNG PAO(ish) TOFU

to all the sunday meal preppers/shoppers out there may i highly recommend u add this to ur menu this week
if u hate it i will personally refund u for ur cooking efforts and grocery expenses. i’m that confident in this one yes

KUNG PAO(ish) TOFU
for the sauce:
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
4 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp minced ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2-ish block tofu, cubed
corn starch
1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
1/2 red pepper, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 red chili, sliced
2 green onions, sliced
a few Tbsps of peanuts
toss ur tofu w/ a light coating of corn starch. air fry or bake until crispy. meanwhile chop ur veg and mix together ur sauce. add oil to a pan over medium heat. pan fry peppers, chili, and white portion of the green onions until soft. add in crispy tofu. lower heat to med/low then pour over sauce. allow to simmer for a few until sauce thickens. mix in the tops of the green onions and the peanuts. serve with an aesthetic mound of rice
