Step 1
Preheat broiler. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large oven proof skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 2
Add broth, cream, Italian seasoning, and broken noodles. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until noodles are tender and mixture is thickened.
Step 3
Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned. Sprinkle with basil.
