Instructions
Step 1
To a bowl, combine hoison sauce, soy sauce, corn starch, brown sugar, water, and mix until combined.
Step 2
Cut chicken breast into 1/2 inch pieces. Transfer chicken into a bowl and drench in corn starch.
Step 3
To a wok, or a pan add oil over medium high heat.
Step 4
Working in batches, cook chicken on each side about 5 minutes, set aside. Be sure to leave them untouched for 5 minutes while cooking.
Step 5
In the same wok or pan, sauté ginger and garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant. Next, pour in soy sauce mixture and mix for 2 - 3 minutes until sauce starts to thicken.
Step 6
Add chicken back into the wok, mix until each piece of chicken is coated. Add red pepper flakes, and half of your green onions, mix again for 1 minute.
