Step 1
Fry (vegan) bacon with a little olive oil. Set aside. Drain and rinse the beans a little, fry them with a little oil, salt and garlic until they soften a little and taste nice on their own. (Adjust salt accordingly). Set aside. In the same pan add more olive oil to fry the onion, garlic and chilli flakes.
Add the butter (spread is fine too) at least 1 tbsp. Add the spinach. Add the flour and mix well. Immediately add the milk to dissolve the flour and make de bechamel. Add the beans, and the bacon to the sauce and heat it all up together. Optional toppings: cheese, parsley, chilli flakes, nutritional yeast.
