3 lbsground pork
1 tablespoonchicken powder
1 tablespoonsalt
1 tsppink curing salt
2 tablespoonscorn starch
2 tablespoonssugar
½ teaspoonblack pepper
½ cupwater

Instructions
Step 1
For the meatball, mix all the ingredients together until well incorporated. Place in refrigerator and let cure for at least 8 hours.
Step 2
Once the meat is cured, shape them into meatballs. Fry it until golden brown. The inside will be pinkish because of the curing salt. It will resemble ham/spam.
Step 3
Dice the onions, mince the garlic, and drain the pineapple chunks. Reserve the juice for the sauce. Make a slurry with the cornstarch and 1/2 cup water
Step 4
To make the sauce, sautee the onions and garlic until the onions are translucent. Add cloves and sautee for 30 seconds. Add the pineapple juice and 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Once boiling, add the brown sugar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil again.
Step 6
When it comes to a boil, add the cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens. Add the meatballs pineapples and toss in the sauce. Serve warm.
