Instructions

Step 1
Drain beans and place in stock pot along with the chicken stock. Add all herbs and spices along with jalapeño, onion and half the cilantro. Simmer 30 mns. Add chicken or turkey and simmer 30 mns longer. If you want a thicker chili mash some of the beans against side of pot. Add rest of cilantro, adjust seasoning if needed and serve.
Step 2
Cornbread is a nice side with this.
Step 3
I have also made this with leftover smoked turkey: it was excellent.
