Instructions

Step 1
Dice onion, carrot and potato.

Cook vegetables in olive oil until soft.

Add garlic and cook for another minute.

Wash split peas. Add split peas to the pot, along with the boiling water, stock cubes, paprika, salt and pepper.

Stir and leave simmering for 30-40 minutes, until split peas are cooked and soft.
Step 6
Blend soup with a stick blender, and add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
