Instructions
Step 1
Put the rice on to cook (see p20).
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Add the beef and fry on a high heat until lightly browned.
Step 3
Remove from the pan and set to one side. Add the onions, garlic and ginger to the pan and fry for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Mix together the cornflour, water, soy and sugar, add to the pan and bring to the boil. Return the beef to the pan.
Step 5
Cook for 1 minute on a medium heat.
Step 6
Serve with the rice.
