My daughter had asked for meatball sandwiches a few days prior, so I got thinking, "How can I make this easily, but good?"

Instructions

Step 1
Heat up big pot with a lid
Step 2
Add 2 cups olive oil
Step 3
Add full bag of frozen home style meatballs, coat all meatballs with olive oil by mixing in a rotating motion. Bringing the meatballs from the bottom of the pot to the top.
Step 4
Add cooking sherry to the pot. Poor in shallow part of the pot so that it bubbles and sizzles. Wait 1 minute, mix in a rotating motion again.
Step 5
Adjust heat to medium high. Place lid on top, about 15 minutes. To get heating through the middle of the pot to defrost/cook through.
Step 6
While that's heating up. Wash and Chop up the cucumbers. Wash the cherry tomatoes and add them to the large bowl. Wash and drain salad mix in strainer to drive dry a few minutes. Add to the large bowl.
Step 7
Stir meatballs, place the lid back on the pot
Step 8
Let heat up another 15-20 minutes.
Step 9
Add garlic salt, powdered garlic, Italian seasoning, powdered onion to meatballs and mix. Leave covered another 10 minutes.
Step 10
Add Ragu meat flavored sauce to cover all meatballs. Cover. Check and mix every 15 minutes til steaming. (
Step 11
Plate by sliding hoagie in half, toasting hoagie in butter and garlic salt. (I wish had fresh ingredients for this part, too salty for me). Add the arugula, sprinkle shredded Italian cheese mix on top of arugula. Add meatballs. Then add sautéed mushrooms and onion. More Italian cheese and sprinkle parm cheese on top.
