Ingredients

1kgChicken
1 tsplime juice
½ tspRed chili
½ tspturmeric
½ tspsalt
½ cupfried onions
¼ cupOnion paste
1 tspgarlic paste
1 Tbspginger paste
1 ½ tspcoriander powder
1 tspred chili powder
½ tspturmeric
salt
to taste
1 ½ cupsWater
½ cupCooking oil
3 Tbspketchup
½ tspblack pepper
or white
½ tspcumin powder

Instructions
Step 1
1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken with red chili powder, turmeric , salt and lime juice.
Step 2
Marinate for 15 to 30 minute.
Step 3
2. Heat oil in a pan, place the marinated chicken and fry until chickens are brown.

3. Set aside the chicken
Step 5
4. In the same pan add onion and fry until brown. Once the onions are brown remove them from pan and add whole garam masala, onion paste, garlic-ginger paste and all the spice. Saute until fragrant.
Step 6
5. Bring the fried chicken to the pan, add ketchup and fried onion and saute for another 10 min.
Step 7
6. Now add 1.5 cups of water 1 cup of water and cook until tender.
Step 8
7. Add green chili, 1/2 tsp of garam masala and 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder.
Step 9
8. Serve hot with your favorite rice or ruti or chapti or butter naan.
