Cam has described this one as “maybe the best oats you’ve ever made”, and I agree that it’s definitely up there! How simple whole-food ingredients can taste so decadent always blows my mind! You really have to try this one, and it’s so good it could easily pass as a dessert! And of course, it’s super nourishing 🙂 With 21g of protein and 14g of fibre. It’s a great one to get you started for the day!

Step 1
Cover the dates in boiling water, and let them soak for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Add the dates, almond butter, 1/2 cup milk, and pinch of salt to a small blender, and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Combine the chia seeds, oats, milk, and 1 diced banana. Allow setting in the fridge overnight.
Step 4
To build, layer the date caramel, some oats, banana, and yogurt. Sprinkle with cacao powder if using, and enjoy!
