Instructions

Step 1
Make a rice ball by using a mold or by using your hands to form one. Place a block of cheese between two layers of rice and form until the rice ball is solid.
Step 2
In a pan over medium low heat, drizzle some neutral oil to pan fry the rice ball. Pan fry until each side is slightly golden and crispy.
Step 3
Remove the rice ball from the pan.
Step 4
In the same pan, add sesame oil and garlic. Sauté the garlic until fragrant (~60 seconds).
Step 5
Lower the heat to low and add the gochujang, soy sauce and honey into the pan.
Step 6
Allow for the sauce to reduce until it has slightly thickened (2-3 mins).
Step 7
Place the pan fried rice balls back into the sauce and coat each side evenly.
Step 8
Remove the rice ball from the pan.
Step 9
Wrap the rice ball in a sheet of seaweed and enjoy!
