Instructions

Step 1
Wash, peel and cut carrot into chunks
Step 2
Put carrots in a blender, add egg, milk/water and blend until smooth
Step 3
In a large bowl add flour and butter. Gently mix together
Step 4
Add sugar, milk, nutmeg and salt
Step 5
Mix until well combined
Step 6
Add blended carrots and mix until dough comes together
Step 7
Transfer to a flat floured or non stick work surface
Step 8
Sprinkle flour on top of dough and rollout until flat
Step 9
Cut into desired shapes
Step 10
Use a scraper to transfer into oil on medium heat

Fry for 2-3 minutes stiring continously or until golden brown
Step 12
Set aside to cool on kitchen towel to drain excess oil
Step 13
If using an airfryer, airfry for 15 minutes at 350⁰C
Step 14
Shake at 5 minutes intervals
Step 15
Once done set on large plate or tray to cool completely before storing in airtight containers
