Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

This recipe is always a hit with my family. Its so delicious with the smoky spiciness from the cajun seasoning and the beautiful creamy tomato sauce.

Instructions

Step 1
Cut your chicken breast into bite sized pieces and season with cajun seasoning. Mix it together and let it marinate while you prepare the other ingredients
Step 2
In a large pan, add some oil and cook the meat until it’s almost cooked through. Take it out and set it aside. Start to cook your pasta around this time (in salted water). 8oz dried pasta OR 13 oz fresh pasta
Step 3
In the same pan as the meat, add the onions and saute them for a bit. Once cooked down a little, add in the garlic and bell peppers. Saute until it’s softened
Step 4
Add in your tomato passata, stir and cook for a few minutes. Now pour in the heavy cream and add in your cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt and parmesan. Check for seasonings and adjust to taste.
Step 5
Once the pasta is cooked, add it to the sauce and the spinach. Mix it all well
Step 6
Serve with some cilantro and parmigiano on top and enjoy!
