Chicken and chickpeas curry

Instructions

Step 1
Add chopped onion to some oil and once it turns slightly brown, add ginger and garlic paste. Fry for a minute and add salt, chicken and tomatoes.
Step 2
When the chicken changes colour, add rest of the spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chilli flakes and fenugreek leaves)
Step 3
Once masala is ready and oil comes up, add green chillies and 2 drained cans of chickpeas but cook on high heat for a couple mins.
Step 4
Add enough water that chickpeas are covered.
Step 5
After one boil, turn heat low, cover and cook for 10-15 mins until chicken is cooked through and the chickpeas have softened more and absorbed the masalas.
Step 6
Cook on high heat till desired consistency
Step 7
Add some fresh coriander and butter, put n damm for few more mins and it’s done
