Ingredients
1 servings
½ cupwhite rice
steamed, or more for larger waffle irons
¼ teaspoonsesame oil
2 tablespoonscrab
shredded, fish, or your favourite sushi filling
2 tablespoonscucumber
diced
2 tablespoonsavocado
chopped
1 tablespoonscallions
Furikake
sesame seeds
for garnishing
Sriracha
mayonnaise
to taste
soy sauce
to taste
2 toil
1chicken breast
sliced thinly
1garlic clove
small, crushed
0.5 pieceginger
thumb sized, grated
15 gramsrunny honey
13mllight soy sauce
1 ½ trice wine vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
1. Chop cucumber and avocado then set aside.
Step 2
2. Measure out a half cup of steamed white rice, and mix with sesame oil.
Step 3
3. Roll rice into a tight ball, and press into greased waffle iron.
Step 4
4. Let waffle iron run for one cycle or until the rice reaches your desired level of crispiness.

5. Top waffle with chicken cucumber, avocado
Step 6
6. Drizzle on sriracha and mayonnaise, then garnish with furikake seasoning and sesame seeds.

7. Shake on some soy sauce, and enjoy!

8. Heat oil in pan on a medium heat. Add the chicken and fry for about 7 minutes, or until golden.
Step 9
9. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 10
10. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, vinegar and 100ml of water.
Step 11
Bring to the boil and cook for 2 to 5 mins over a minimum heat until the chicken is sticky and coated with thick sauce.
