Instructions

Step 1
1. Add butter to small pot on medium heat. Cook until almost browned.
Step 2
2. Add cardamom. Stir and cook until aromatic.
Step 3
3. Add oats and cook until smelling nutty flavor.
Step 4
4. Add water and pinch of salt.
Step 5
5. Add vanilla and flax seed.
Step 6
6. Add half of pear.
Step 7
7. Turn down heat to low or medium low. Cook until oats are fully cooked.
Step 8
8. Turn off heat and cover with lid for 5 minutes.
Step 9
9. Serve. Top with other half or pear and walnuts. Add milk.
