Step 1
Cut cucumbers lengthwise into 1.5 inch pieces. Add salt and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Drain the excess liquid but do not rinse it. Thinly slice the onion and carrots and cut the green onion to 1.5 inch pieces. Add the vegetables to the cucumbers and the seasonings. Mix thoroughly and for best result refrigerate for an hour before serving. Keeps for about 5 days in the fridge.
