Instructions
Meal Prep
Step 1
Add sliced steak and cornstarch into gallon sized bag. Shake bag until all sides of steak pieces are coated. Seal bag, removing air.
Step 2
In a small bowl or quart sized bag, combine soy or tamari sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Make It A Freezer Meal
Step 3
Label a new gallon sized freezer bag.
Step 4
Add the sealed steak with cornstarch bag and sealed sauce bag.
Step 5
Add in broccoli florets on top.
Step 6
Seal bags together and freeze flat.
Quick Thaw
Step 7
Thaw steak and sauce packets quickly by running under warm water until you can break the packets up.
OR
Step 8
Place the whole kit in the fridge first thing in the morning so the meat will be thawed by dinner time.
Make It Now
Step 9
Add 3-4 tbsp vegetable or canola oil to a wok or large skillet and heat on high.
Step 10
Add steak and stir-fry, separating pieces and stirring constantly until the majority of the pieces have some golden or crispy edges on them (about 3-4 minutes).
Step 11
Add broccoli and cook 1-2 minutes until tender crisp.
Step 12
Add sauce and cook, stirring constantly for about 1 minute until sauce is slightly thickened.
Step 13
Serve with rice or rice noodles and garnish with additional sesame seeds or diced green onion, if desired.
