Step 1
First you want to marinate your chicken for 5-6 hours. If you want to have it sooner just marinate it for 10-20 minutes. Mix 4 tbs olive oil , 1 Tbs Of ltalian Seasoning , 1 Tbs Salt 1 Tbs pepper together and rub chicken legs with seasoning until evenly coating all the skin
Step 2
On a medium low heat put 1 tbs of olive oil in a pot and toss in the onions , peppers and rosemary let cook until onion soften up
Step 3
Pour in the chicken stock and water and let it simmer before adding the chicken legs. Once you’ve added the chicken legs you can add remaining Italian seasoning , salt and pepper let cook on medium low heat for 45 minutes to an hour
Step 4
Once the chicken is fully cooked and falling off the bones you want to take the bones out but leave the chicken in the pot. Once the bones are removed you want the chicken to simmer for 10-15 more minutes to absorb more flavor
Step 5
If your bread isn’t already sliced make sure to slice it half way through for the best experience (the bread holds more juices from the meat) you can add the cheese than the meat or you can add the meat than the cheese. Whichever you prefer and you can serve this tasty sandwich with fries , wedges , a nice salad with Italian dressing or just a sandwich
