Instructions
Step 1
1. Cook pasta according to the package instructions. Before straining the pasta make sure you save about 1 cup of the pasta water.

2. Make the sauce— Put a skillet on high heat add in the olive oil, butter and let the butter melt. Next add in the shallots and garlic sauté for a minute.

3. Next add in the chili flakes, Tomato paste and cook the tomato paste for about 3 minutes, then add in the heavy cream and stir well.
Step 4
4. Next Add in the cooked pasta, grated Parmesan cheese, pasta water, fresh basil and mix until all the pasta in covered in the sauce. Let it cook in the sauce for about another minute and done. Garnish with more Parmesan cheese, fresh basil and enjoy.
