Instructions
Step 1
Place a large pot with water on your stove and wait until the water starts boiling and then ease down the type of pasta you prefer. It is not necessary to add salt since the parmesan cream and the dried ham are already salty enough. Cook the pasta as long as the package says, it can take around 10 or 12 minutes. You can use either a long or short type of pasta for this dish.

Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, take a pan and heat it up. Slice the raw ham in small slices and ease it down into the pan. It is not necessary to put anything else in the pan, the grease of the ham is enough to not make it stick to bottom of the pan. Cook it a slow heat until is a little crispy and then take it out from the pan but do to throw away the grease that the ham left into the pan.

Step 3
Put the heavy cream and the grated parmesan into a food processor and make a cream. When the cream is ready, put it into the pan where you cooked the raw ham and keep the heat low.

Step 4
When the pasta is ready, strain it but do not throw away the cooking water. Put the pasta in the pan with sauce and a couple of spoon of the water where you cooked the pasta. Add 3/4 of the raw ham and stir for a couple of minutes.

When the sauce is dense, put the pasta in your plate and add what is left of the raw ham.
