Xandria's Slow Heat Salsa

I have been refining this recipe for a while now and think I have the desired heat (for myself).
This is not a super spicy salsa (although you can make it so). It's flavourful, does pack some heat, and then recedes a bit; the flavour changes as consumption occurs ;-)
Warning: this is like crack. I could sit down and eat the entire jar. LOL

Ingredients

Canned Whole Peeled Plum Tomatoes
DRAIN for a chunkier texture

16Cherry Tomatoes
substitute with grape tomatoes if needed/preferred

156gTomato Paste
entire small tin

40 mLLime Juice

0.5Red Onion
substitute with white onion if needed/preferred

1Green Bell Pepper
or any colour

1 handfulFresh Parsley
1 tbsp, substitute cilantro if needed/preferred

3 slices tbspBlack olive
optional

1 Tbspcayenne pepper

1 TbspAleppo chili flakes

1 tspground cumin

1 tablespoonhot smoked Paprika

1 TbspSea Salt

½ tspGround Black Pepper
2 tspnew Mexican red chile powder
Instructions
Step 1
Step 1 Place into a blender or food processor:

• Canned Whole Peeled Plum Tomatoes (400 g) – DRAIN for a chunkier texture
Step 3
• Cherry Tomatoes (10) – substitute with grape tomatoes if needed/preferred
Step 4
• Tomato Paste (50 g)
Step 5
• lime Juice (40 mL)
Step 6
• Red Onion (1/2) – substitute with white onion if needed/preferred
Step 7
• Green Bell Pepper (1/2)
Step 8
• Fresh Parsley (1 handful fresh or 1 tbsp dried) -- substitute cilantro if needed/preferred

• and Garlic (4 or more cloves)
Step 10
• Black olive slices (3 tbsp) – optional

Step 2 Add the following spices:

• Cayenne Pepper (1/4 tsp)

• Aleppo chili flakes (1/4 tsp)

• Ground Cumin (3/4 tsp)
Step 15
• Paprika (1/2 tsp)

• Sea Salt (1 tbsp)

• Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)

• and Honey (1 tbsp)

• other herbs and spices if desired.
Step 20
Step 3 Pulse until you are happy with the consistency.
