Sliced, Water, or Regular Bamboo
80gGreen Pepper

The Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare and slice water bamboo roots thinly, roughly 1/2 inch thick, transfer to a plate.
Step 2
Slice both green and red pepper thinly, these are used to add more colors in order to create a beautiful presentation. Prepare minced garlic.
Step 3
To make sauce, add light soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, water and corn starch together, mix well.
Step 4
Once cooking oil heats up in a skillet, quickly add in minced garlic over medium heat. Further add in thinly sliced green pepper and red pepper to mix. Then throw in sliced water bamboo to stir fry. Simmer for 5 minutes or so over medium heat with the lid on.
Step 5
Once water bamboo becomes soft and cooked, finally mix in the sauce mixture, stir well before plating. Serve warm with a bowl of rice.
