Instructions
Step 1
Heat the slow cooker on high for 5 minutes before prep
Step 2
Finely chop the onion. Fry in 1tbs oil until lightly brown. Add to the slow cooker.
Step 3
Add a little more oil to the fry pan. Brown the chops. Add to the slow cooker.
Step 4
Add the stock, garlic paste, butter beans, mushrooms (whole or cut as you wish), fresh or dried herbs and carrot.
Step 5
Cover and slow cook for 4 hours on high or 8 on low.
To serve
Step 6
You can thicken the sauce to serve with tasty speciality potatoes or crusty bread. Just rustic. Don't be tempted to add both potatoes and bread. Think of the carbs.
