60gRed pepper
3 TbspGarlic and Ginger Paste
2 Tbspcurry powder
1 Tbspgaram masala
1 tspturmeric
0.5 TbspTandoori Masala Powder
1 TspSalt
To Taste
2.5 TbspMango Chutney
1 TbspTamarind sauce
6 TbspTomato Puree
mix with water
2 tsphot chilli powder
2 TspRed Kashmiri chilli powder

Instructions
Step 1
Blend onions to smooth paste
Step 2
Heat oil
Step 3
Add star anise and cinnamon stick for a minute
Step 4
Add onion and cook until golden brown
Step 5
Add all the dry spices and garlic and ginger paste
Step 6
Add small amount of water to make a thick paste
Step 7
Mix in the tomato paste
Step 8
Add in the chicken and mix to coat
Step 9
Add red pepper and 500ml of hot water
Step 10
Cook for a couple of minutes then add salt, tamarind paste and mango chutney to taste
Step 11
Put lid on the pan cook on a fast simmer for 10 minutes
Step 12
Add half the coriander leaves and rub the kasoori methi into the sauce
Step 13
Simmer for 8-10 minutes
