Ingredients
3 servings

1 cuporzo
uncooked, or rosamarina, rice-shaped pasta

1 tablespoonbutter
or margarine

½ cupgreen onions
chopped

¼ cupgreen bell pepper
chopped

6 ouncesbacon
Canadian, diced

1 x 9 ouncefrozen sugar snap peas
package

½ teaspoonlemon-pepper seasoning

¼ teaspoonsalt

½ cuphalf-and-half

2 tablespoonsshredded parmesan cheese
fresh

2 tablespoonsparsley
chopped, fresh
Instructions
Step 1
In large saucepan. cook orzo in lightly salted boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes or just until tender. Drain; keep warm.
Step 2
In same saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onions, bell pepper and bacon; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until onions are tender. Reduce heat to medium. Add sugar snap peas; cook 2 minutes.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low. Stir in lemon-pepper seasoning, salt and half-and-half. Simmer 2 minutes or until warm. Stir in cheese, parsley and cooked orzo until well blended.
