Instructions
Step 1
Heat pot with oil and temper the whole spices, cardamom and mace powder for 30 sec
Step 2
Add onions and fry with color changes to dark brown
Step 3
Cool down the onions and make a paste along with cashew.
Step 4
Marinate chicken with salt, ginger and garlic paste, lemon and chilli powder for 30 min
Step 5
Mix yogurt, cardamom powder and coriander powder. Tumeric is optional (for color only)
Step 6
Marinate the chicken with the yogurt mix for 10 min.
Step 7
Cook the marinated chicken. Add the left over yogurt marinate with 1 tbsp of ghee
Step 8
After 3 min of cooking add the onion paste and crushed dried fenugreek powder
Step 9
Add garam masala and cilantro as per your liking
