Ingredients
8 servings

2 ½ cwhite rice
cooked
Chicken Soup and Matzo Ball Combo Mix

1 cchicken broth

1chicken bullion cube

1 lbbaby carrots

3stalks celery

4chicken breasts

2eggs

vegetable oil

sourdough bread
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a large soup pot 1/3 way with water (enough to cover chicken breasts). Boil the breasts for at least 20 minutes.
Step 2
While chicken is cooking, make the matzo balls according to the box directions.
Step 3
Cut up the carrots and celery and boil in a separate pot for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the chicken breasts when done cooking and place on a cutting board. Add the soup mixture to the water and make the matzo balls. Cover according to the directions.
Step 5
Wen the matzo balls are done, add the carrots and celery and the water they boiled in to the big pot.
Step 6
Shred the chicken and add it to the pot.
Step 7
Make the rice and add it to the soup. Add a bullion cube, salt and pepper as needed.
