Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve pasta water.
Step 2
Cut up the onion and add it to a pan with olive oil until translucent.
Step 3
Cut up the sausage and add to the pan. Chop up within the pan to cook. Add the white wine.
Step 4
Boil a pot of water (enough to fit a clear bowl over it, youโll be melting the Parmesan cheese in the clear bowl to make a paste). Add the Parmesan cheese to the clear bowl and begin the melting process. Add some milk as needed. When it is melted, add the saffron (as needed) for the golden color.
Step 5
Combine sausage mixture and pasta. Mix well. Then, add the cheese and saffron paste. Add pasta water as needed to thicken the sauce.
Step 6
Serve and enjoy!
