Lentils are a delicious way to bulk out a meal, and they take on other flavours really well. This fantastic lentil-based curry uses pre-cooked lentils, which means it takes not time at all to make.

Step 1
Pan-fry the sliced onion, garlic and green beans in a splash of olive oil over a medium heat for a few minutes until the garlic starts to brown, then add the curry powder and the lentils. Fry for another minute, then add a big splash of water, crumble in the stock cube and simmer for a few minutes until the beans are cooked and the sauce thickens.
Step 2
Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with a splash of cream.
