Instructions

Step 1
In a separate container, combine lemon juice with milk in separate container. Let rest until it sours (i.e. chunks)
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, oats, and bran. Let stand 5 minutes. Add egg and beat until blended.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda until blended. Add bran mixture in the large bowl and blend only until all flour is moistened. Do not overmix.
Step 4
Pour about 1/4 cup batter on lightly greased, preheated 375 degree frying pan or griddle. Cook about 3 minutes or until bubbles form and the edge of pancake is dry. Turn and cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
