Instructions
Step 1
Fry chopped onion in some olive oil and add chopped garlic.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into thin strips and add to the pan. Cook on high heat till it changes colour.
Step 3
Add salt, black pepper, red chilli flakes and garlic powder and cook chicken for further 10mins.
Step 4
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook on high heat till they soften.
Step 5
Add double cream, bring to boil, add the spinach and then let it simmer for 5mins

Add your choice of cheese and dried

mixed herbs and turn the stove off. The heat will wilt the spinach and melt the cheese

Boil pasta of choice in salted water as per packet instructions. I use either Fettuccine or Linguine pasta for this white sauce
Step 9
Add cooked pasta to the sauce along with some pasta water. (Pasta water will ensure the sauce doesnt turn lumpy and stays creamy)
Step 10
Serve with garlic bread
